On a boat, 3 a clock at night, with nothing to do but help people out with @Nodester and @nodejs :p

StephenMerchant If I had all the minutes back that I'd spent trying to get printers to work, I'd have another whole day to spend getting a printer to work

@jchillerup Du kan da altid undskylde dig med at du brugte SoundHound eller en lignende service til at få genkendt nummeret

@mrgnrdrck Hard core at overgå ejeren af stedet!

@_alejandromg Awesome! It seems like most of the support in the IRC channel was regarding binary modules, so it's nice to have solved!

via web in reply to _alejandromg

@jogbert I guess that explains why you took a picture of the boot screen :P

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert Ah okay. What problems are you having with CM? I run it on my HTC Legend, and I'm happy with it

@jogbert Have you fixed the GPS on that thing?

@jchillerup Det lyder da som en glimrende måde at spilde en mandag på

Spent 3 hours on making a XBMC addon for showing videos of concerts from Roskilde Festival today: github.com/Tenzer/plugin.…

@jogbert Also, a big part of the rendering process seems single threaded, so I would properly benefit from having more than 1 client running

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert Okay, I've got it set up on one server. Rendering is indeed faster, but is lacking anti-aliasing. I don't know if it's a limitation

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert I was just looking up it supports remote rendering ;) We got some 12 core machines at work which aren't being use atm :P

via web in reply to jogbert

...and that's for a 3 second clip (1080p - 60 FPS - highest settings that makes sense)

via web

That 45 minute render I mentioned earlier, is looking more like a 3 hour render now :(

via web

I btw have a love/hate with Blender - The program is confusing as hell with my experience, but I am always pleased with the results I get

via web

Hmm, what to do the next 45 minutes while waiting for my 3D render to complete?

via web

@auchenberg Oh, "devns" is better then, imo :)

via web in reply to auchenberg

Playing around with DTrace on production systems, and found that a 50 MB file is ready every 20 seconds - Probably not the best idea...

via web

@jogbert A good reason to only use plain text e-mails :)

via web in reply to jogbert

@kjwcode Okay, I just rarely have to look in the spam folder... But today almost all mails I have received ended up there for some reason

via web

Is it just me, or is Gmail marking almost every mail as spam mail today?

via web

Great, when looking in the spam folder in Gmail, I get an ad for "Creamy Spam Broccoli Casserole - Makes 8 servings". Nice job Google

auchenberg Interesting take on a new Microsoft branding: The next Microsoft.

@auchenberg Du mangler da lidt noget safari i Afrika, gør du ikke? :)

via web in reply to auchenberg

@jogbert But it's only HTTP that's misbehaving, isn't it? You haven't tried another webserver on another port, just to test?

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert It sure does, here's a dump from a OI zone: pastebin.com/eZ1J0KGS

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert Are you sure about that? From what I can see it accepts connections on port 80, but never responds

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert Okay - I just made a tool to check OI mirrors, and it failed on yours, so I guess it works somewhat :P

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert Doesn't seem to help. I am testing from a BigV machine as I don't have IPv6 at home either

via web in reply to jogbert

@jogbert HTTP on IPv6, I should say

via web

@jogbert You are running the OI mirror at 2a01:4f8:121:3484::f1 right? It doesn't seem to respond on IPv6 :/

@supertroels All different kinds of music, but I probably prefer something a bit trivial like house music or DJ mixes

via web in reply to supertroels

@kaptencybear You're in good time then, it seems :P

It could seem like BigV is affected by the leap second. My VM with them is down, and I can't start it up again (times out). /cc @bytemarkuk
